old town squares.

where is the sun? the moon? the earth? the stars?

the symbol of old town prague centered, surrounded by depictions of the harvest seasons, circled by 365 names, one for each day of the year.

the astronomical clock.
rated the number one most disappointing tourist attraction in europe. why? probably the anticlimactic hourly action.
my interest was sparked, however. the four feared figures from left to right: vanity, money lender, death, and the believer of a non-christian god (terrifying).

church of our lady the fourteenth.

church of st. nicholas.

evidence of the drastic turn of the skies. timely as it was, when i first got indoors it poured for a maybe minute. the after-shine, always the brightest and warmest as if it has been yearning all the while, fought to ever set.
