up.

today i went to the danish design museum.
the entry is free on wednesdays.
it was really great.
it made me wish i had a home for all of the beautiful things i see.
even more than i already do.
or at least the means to acquire them.
teak and bakelite. soft beat leather.
pastel enameled steel.
arne jacobsen too.
there was a building on fire obstructing my path.
it was an ancient one right by amalienborg.
a reminder of material means.
i could smell the smoke from my room.
it was a somber scene. standing silently staring.

and this guy, too.

then came the time again for an exchange at hovedbiblioteket.
it was another successful one.
i put one of my famed authors to rest (for now).
it was the eyeing of a personal classic which ensued.
the bell jar by sylvia plath.
a gift to me from my sister some ten years ago.
so looking forward to reading it again.
almost like it's new.
then came the time again to practice my astanga yoga.
after a week about it was long overdue.

wienning.

the baroque piarist church of maria treu.
alight amidst the steady shower mist.

a lovely place to plan to presently part, over organic aromatic coffee sip scents and fresh banana chocolaty crepe aroma amaze.

the underground above ground view.
in sight of the votivkirche at sundown.

via bratislava, slovakia.
the most erie of hours spent wandering.
indifferent ill sensing.

lovely this lady. what a delight it was.

mother minder.

vienna was undoubtedly beautiful. somehow, however, the aura and air of the city failed to fully grasp my gape and gawk. maybe it was the time and place of my mind and body in that my energy was significantly muted (maybe more than is usually so) and my focus uncharacteristically awry. the honest highlight was the time thus provided to befriend miss adrienne and the stimulating association we undoubtedly impart.
with hardly four weeks remaining before i move back to those states debatably united, i'm thrilled to be koping once again.

a few two couple trio.

a couple or two few more entirely admired from the leopold collection.

death and life. 1910/1915. gustav klimt.
